Linoto 100% Linen Sheet Set Review

I started researching sheets when redoing my master bedroom. I looked at super high thread count cotton, bamboo, spa microfiber, etc. I ended up trying a 100% linen duvet from Rest.. Hardware. What a mistake.... shortly thereafter, I found Linoto and couldn't be happier. The Rest... Hardware duvet was very poorly sewn. The sizing was all off (too wide in areas and not straight on the grain of the fabric). I ended up ripping the entire thing apart (queen sized!) and re-sewing it properly. Meanwhile, I ordered 2 pillow cases from Linoto and was amazed at the quality. The linen is beautiful. The french seams are beautiful. The packaging is beautiful. I ended up buying the sheet set and have slowly built up enough to have sheets on the bed and a couple back up ready to go. The customer service at Linoto is second to none. Linen is SO COMFORTABLE to sleep on. It is not hot (like cotton), and in a strange way, it's very soft as well. It dries super fast (I can hang my sheets out on the clothes line even on a cloudy day, and they are dry in a couple of hours). I've washed my first sheet at least 10 times by now and it just keeps getting softer. The BEST THING: NO IRONING!!!! I just smooth out the sheet and pillows in the morning, let it air out while I get ready, and then arrange my duvet and it's just as wonderful every night when I crawl into bed. I used to have to replace my cotton sheets every few years or so because they got thin or faded. These sheets are more expensive, but with proper care, should last much longer. They are definitely worth it as a way to treat yourself every day. Paired with our new Tempurpedic mattress, LInoto linen sheets were the finishing touch to our bedroom makeover.

April 27, 2013 Just an update note... after two years, my sheets are just a wonderful as the first day, except softer. No signs of wear even though they are used every day of the year ( I do have two fitted sheets and rotate). I always machine wash on the "whites" setting (mine are obviously white), and line dry in the sun (or damp dry in the dryer if it's raining... and spread on my bed to dry... the ceiling fan helps speed the process)... I never ever completely dry them in the dryer. I have since purchased the Linoto Quilted Coverlet.... worth every penny!
