This product came well packed in a long package. The directions were clear and all hardware and even a socket wrench was included to make assembly fast and simple. After putting this together and put the cover on it, I placed the mattress on top and it works perfectly. It is solid well constructed, and I highly recommend this product for those of you, like me, who have a second floor bedroom that even a low profile queen box spring won't fit! A must purchase!

I bought this popcorn machine at the end of October, 2011. It was on sale for 199.98...Great price!

I did a lot of research before settling on this machine. What finally swayed me was the larger kettle size, the warming bulb and the cute concession panel in the front.

I have wanted one of these machines for years and always resisted, worrying we wouldn't use it enough. For the last 2 months we have used the machine every week, at least 2-3 times a week. Some weeks everyday and I don't see it slowing down anytime soon.

We use Great Northern Popcorn, 6-Ounce Portion Packs (Pack of 24), very easy to use and fantastic flavor.

I love this item! I ordered it last week and had it put together today. It's beautiful, the wood is a nice rich cherry color, and the overall appearance is very elegant. They give you plenty of shelves to store all your media. The hardware is made of aluminum and isn't the greatest, but that is to be expected from an item you purchase unassembled. My only complaint is that the holes for the shelf supports aren't continuous from top to bottom, but instead there are gaps where the wood is solid. This limits where you can set the shelves, and if you want to primarily store DVDs, you have to space them out a bit and lose some storage space. But it's not a significant issue. Overall, VERY pleased with this item.

This unit was new in the home we purchased and we were satisfied with it for the 2 months that we were able to use it. Then it just completely died. We pulled it out from the counter, plugged it in other outlets...nothing. Checked the fuse in the unit, it was good. Called Sharp to get it serviced. They are insisting that the builder provide the invoice for the unit or they won't cover it. So begins the hassle, trying to get Sharp to stand behind a bad product. Microwaves should just work, and most of them do.

Have a look at other reviews for this and similar units on Amazon. I saw 15 others on one page that gave 1 star reviews for similar issues on the same model. This unit has some real issues.
