Vitamix or Blendtec does not come close this blender. It is in a class by itself. It is three and a half horsepower and spins at 45,000 revolutions per minute. No other blender can compete with that. While I was searching for the best blender Vitamix and Blendtec were the names that kept coming up until I searched Commercial blenders. Thats when I found the Waring MX1200XTX Xtreme. My wife and myself are very happy with this machine. We make a lot of green smoothies and with the 45,000 rpm you will never bite into a raspberry seed, lol. This blender is priced right at around $350 you cant go wrong. It turns ice in to snow in about two seconds. You can also make soups in a munute or two hot from the friction from the blade. Also, there is no tamper so you never need to push whatever your blending down to the blade. If you are looking for an amazing, well built blender- this is it. Thanks for reading.
