I have this cart in black with the stainless top, I purchased it with the stainless top as I needed a work surface in my kitchen for food prep. The construction is solid, the black is a jet black finish and not espresso like in the picture. It looks nice in a black/stainless kitchen. The wheels lock down and it stays in place. We put it over a mat as we had a hardwood floor and wanted to make sure the wheels do not scratch the wood. Some people have taken off the wheels but I like them as it allows us to move around the cart in our small kitchen based on our needs. We can also roll it closer to the porch when we are grilling outside for a prep surface.

I like the size of this cart as it fits into my rather small kitchen without taking up too much space. It is 4 feet wide and a foot and a half deep and counter height. The drawers are not very deep as a result - maybe 10-12 inches and don't pull out more than 8-9 inches. However, they are perfect to store my silverware and other utensils. The lowest drawer is deep enough to store a few jars in. There are 2 shelves on either side behind the doors that can fit a short blender or any other small appliances.

I am not using the condiment racks very much but they can be handy if you have items that you may need for food prep that you'd like to store.

There are cheaper carts out there but for the construction, design and look and especially the size this one worked best for my kitchen. It has held up for over a year very well and I think it's going to last several years without an issue.
