I bought a $150 chair before this. It got solid reviews. Most liked it. I didn't like it. Lots of cheap plastic. This chair for the price range is pretty exceptional. Lots of metal and it just feels more solid. Same price "range" but a whole lot nicer chair than what you would normally get for this price. I have one minor complaint and one worry. My complaint is that the chair is too low for my drafting height desk and my worry is that the metal back might crack at some point. Its actually feels sturdy so its more my paranoia than anything else. Summary: If you can't afford the $300-$400 chair you really want, This chair is really great for this price range.
