Before making a major purchase I always check out Amazon reviews first. Although it's sold on multiple websites, I couldn't find a review on this headboard anywhere. Purchasing it "blind" was a real leap for me. So allow me to be the first to review:
This was purchased as a gift and, while the giftee claims that it's beautiful (picture uploaded, and I agree), be aware that it's simply leaning against the wall. Because hardware to attach it to the bed frame is not included. It arrived within 5 days, undamaged in a huge box containing four pieces: two legs, the headboard and a brace board. It appears to be solid wood: mahogany and cherry veneer and it went together easily. This headboard is a winner despite the fact that additional time and expense will be required to attach it to their queen bed frame. Or, it may simply join the thousands of other headboards that just lean up against the wall and look pretty. What the heck, I did my part.
