One of the most beautiful natural rugs I have seen online. The design and color looks great. Wanted to replace a synthetic rug I purchased years ago, and was looking for a natural/healthier choice. It gives my living room a cleaner, brighter feeling.

A bit thicker than I expected (a nice surprise), and felt a little hard on my bare feet at first. It's not rough or scratchy on the feet, more of a bumpy feeling due to the design. However, after a couple days, it felt fine. Another small issue is that it does seem to shed a bit. I've read that many natural fiber rugs lose some fiber in the beginning, but does not effect the overall look, or resilience of the rug. Soon it should stop shedding. A small price to pay for a non-toxic rug alternative. If it wasn't a natural fiber I would be upset about it.

As with all jute rugs its great for sound absorbing, naturally fire resistant, and anti-static. A good thing to remember is that jute can not be cleaned with water or steam, so removing stains can be difficult if you have small children and pets. Just keep it dry and away from stain-situations, and it will be perfect.

Overall, I am so happy with my purchase. Love it!!
