I bought this vacuum off Woot.com for $199 refurbished. I was replacing my Electrolux based on my Dyson DC35's performance. We have limited carpet in our house but three rooms have carpet. Our house cleaner came on Tuesday and did a full cleaning including the floors. They use our vacuum, in this case it was the Electrolux. On Wednesday I got the Dyson. I had to try it and put it to the test. I went over all the floors the house cleaner did and man what I saw was impressive. After the three rooms were done I had a container full of stuff. It was amazing and gross at the same time to think what a bad job our Electrolux was doing. This Dyson is not the end all to vacuums but it did a great job and impressed me a lot compared to our old vacuum. I love the Dyson 35 as well. Does a great job on hard wood floors. Based on my Dyson purchases I am a true believer. One thing to note why I did not give this 5 stars. I got a refurb unit and when you pick the vacuum up the cleaning head part drops down. It should snap into place more. Not a huge deal but could be a little tighter. All in all I am happy with the $199 I spent. Cheers, and happy cleaning.
