We ordered this as a gift for an elderly parent. We were a bit apprehensive as to the qualty of the item though familiar with the American Drew name brand. We, therefore, purchased the item and hoped for the best. The item was delivered earlier than projected, in perfect condition, being well packed. The surprise was the weight of the stool. It was very well made and very stable. The weight was the main factor, from our prospective, that helped to keep the stool in place while being used to step up to the bed. The description by the vendor proved to be very accurate. Over all we are very pleased and happy with the purchase.
