What I like about this grill is that food actually rests on the grill component instead of a stainless wire rack over an electric heating element. I have not used this grill outside yet, but I think it will be great. The stainless is heavy gauge and looks easy to clean. I was pleasantly surprised to see it came with an inside grilling option. Like getting two grills in one. Grilling inside was so easy, just two pieces to clean .... bottom piece and grill. It was enough surface to grill 6 med size steaks in less than 20 mins without flareup and the clean up was fast. I keep the inside bottom piece in my kitchen, and the outdoor grill is on a table on my patio. I will easily move the grillplate and elec cord in or out as needed. The only drawback, if it is one, is that you don't actually see the temp on the elec cord unit, it simply rolls from low to high heat... and the light goes off when the temp is reached. NOt a problem so far.
