I bought this machine online from somewhere other than Amazon. Just got it hooked up and running today, and so far no problems. (There is a video on youtube with a detailed (3 part video) description of exactly how to hook it up and use it - after watching that, I was already an old pro by the time the washer arrived.) I'm on the second load right now. The connection to the sink leaks a bit, but probably only needs further tightening. It holds a surprising amount, and I expect it will save us quite a bit of money - and definitely in effort - now that we don't have to visit the laundrymat any more. The clothes came out very clean and sweet-smelling - it even did a great job of removing the dog/cat hair (we have a lot of fur around our home!), which is far more than I'd dared hope for.

Also, other reviews of similar Haier products have complained of noise and the end of wash beep notification. I find the washer to be quite quiet - definitely quieter than the full size washer it is replacing. We live in a duplex, and it didn't even cause our neighbor's yappy little dogs to sound off, which is amazing. And the end of cycle alert, which I had been worried about, is about like the beep of a moderately alarm clock - so not really a problem, since it beeps six times and shuts itself off. I doubt it'll even wake up my sleeping husband, which is important because he works overnights. If I encounter any difficulties, I will update this review, but so far I am very happy with the product.
