Strong metal mattress platform included. Crib mattress is not included. Crib will convert to toddler bed or daybed with all included parts. Crib will also convert to a complete full size bed with additional purchase of full size bed rails, sold separately. JPMA certified. The crib is nice, nice color and model and nice price but whoever handled the shipment treated it like a ball so it got scratches and damages all over. I don't want to think that the crib was shipper because it was already damaged. The good thing is that some of the scratches were in areas that you don't see easily and some others i covered with a wood marker that i have and you can barely notice them. The other option was to return it and make a complaint, but it was toooo heavy to move it around and i decided to solve the problem by myself.

The cribs looks very nice in my baby's room and it is not hard to ensemble, so i will give them another chance, i will just recommend to Amazon to put some labels on the outside like "Fragil" or "manage with care".
