I've bought a couple of beautiful Laura Ashley bed sets in the past, but lately I've been finding the designs rather frumpy. I thought this one would be elegant, but unfortunately it's not as pictured. There are pink puzzle piece-shaped squiggles embroidered throughout the top, resulting in a quilt-like effect instead of a smooth surface. The flowers are much more purplish than pink, and the comforter is very thin - not much loft at all. Also, it seems rather pricey for not even including the sheets!
