The colors are as expected. The piece looks more or less exactly as I pictured it with the only exception being that it ended up looking smaller on my wall than I thought. Of course I had the dimensions, and knew how big... it just feels like it'd be nicer if it were 20% bigger. of course that's in my space :)

It has a bit of a funky smell to it, not a big deal, but if you're sensitive to it... good to know.

The mounting system is pretty sweet. However, I highly recommend following exactly the mounting instructions. I wanted to have it slightly closer to the wall, and that was just a HUGE pain. I ended up mounting it per the instructions and it was pretty easy. One other note, I used some 3M velcro adhesive picture hanging stuff to keep the bottoms from moving. Hanging only from nails or etc. felt a little loose. the velcro allows you to shift it a little and get it perfectly lined up.

Also included was a paper strip with marks for the center line of each. You put that up level, and place your nails (or screws) exactly on that mark and the spacing will be perfect... just make sure it's level and stretched flat.

Overall great piece of metal art at a good price.
