Couch is just as pictured and what a great deal! Came on time and was notified exactly when they would arrive! Assembly was easy and the color works perfectly with the rest of the house. My only concern is I'm having trouble keeping it from sliding on my hardwood floors but still loooove it!

We have had several immersion blenders from the local department and kitchen goods stores. They were adequate in their operation and provided needed services. For Christmas 2011, our daughter-in-law mentioned that she was looking into the Bamix immersion blender. We purchased it for her for Christmas and were blown away by its size and operation. Since our cheaper version of immersion blender deep-sixed just before Thanksgiving, I decided to get one for my wife.

They are not cheap by any measure but what you get is definitely the cadillac of blenders. The GL200 Pro is exactly that, a professional model with a long neck, powerful motor, and accessories to meet practically every need. Used it recently to blend a pot of split pea soup and it only took a few bursts of power to blend all ingredients.

This blender fits right in with our other appliances, Vita-Mix blender and Kitchen-Aide mixer, all with the power to accomplish any task.

Amazon's price was also a selling point for us.

If you want a workhorse for your kitchen needs, this is a necessity.

I purchased this buffet to use as a bar/cabinet for my new house. The finish goes very well with the decor of the room and the construction of the buffet is solid. My only complaint is that the instructions were rather vague, leaving the person putting the buffet together to interpret the pictures and small captions. Dorel Home Products Screen Loft Bunk, Silver Review

Our 10 year-old daughter has a small bedroom and we were hoping to find a way to increase her usable space. This bed looked like the perfect solution, and we were thrilled with the idea of a desk that could be dedicated homework space. We received the bed quickly (we love Amazon Prime) and the package was in good condition, though extremely heavy.

We did not assemble the bed for a few months, and we regret that; it is now too late to return the bed, and if we had the option, we would return it.

This bed has several serious design flaws, an incorrect description, and some very troubling safety issues.

First off, the ladder is a dedicated part of the construction and CANNOT be moved. For some reason, we thought it could go on either side, but that is not the case. When dealing with a small space, which seems to be the main reason to purchase a bed like this, the flexibility to move the ladder to the other side would be very helpful. We have only one wall that will accommodate the bed, and the ladder is on the wrong side for this configuration. Therefore, the "head" of the bed has to be pulled out about three feet from the wall so you can access the ladder. This means there is nothing to keep the pillow from falling off in the middle of the night--which it does, frequently.

The ladder has other problems, too. It's very uncomfortable on your feet. The steel bars are about 1" and they're just too small to support your weight comfortably when you climb. It's painful! We're going to try and put some pipe insulation foam on them to pad them out, but we haven't done it yet.

Climbing the ladder reveals other problems. This bed SHAKES. It feels very unstable, and every move up the ladder, or even just rolling over on the bed, causes it to sway A LOT. It needs some sort of cross support, and we're going to try to bolt a few braces to it to try and mitigate the swaying. There are other "X" design beds very similar to this on Amazon, and I think they'd be more stable. I wish we'd have gone with one of them, but my daughter really liked the looks of the shelf on this bed...

...Which leads me to the shelf. It isn't there. There is no mention of it in the directions, no place for it on the frame, no parts included. Major disappointment, since that was one of the major factors that influenced us to choose this bed.

Now to the safety of this bed. It is not mentioned in the description, which I find to be an egregious omission, but this bed IS NOT DESIGNED TO WORK WITH A STANDARD SIZED TWIN MATTRESS! The bed has a warning label on it stating that you must not use a mattress any deeper than 6 inches. A standard twin will be at least 8 inches, and it almost completely fills the bed box. This means THERE IS NO SAFETY RAILING! Even with a 6" mattress, you will only have about 5" of safety railing. Please, before you buy this bed get out a ruler and look at exactly how big 5 inches is. Are you comfortable with that being the only thing keeping your child from a six-and-a-half foot drop? This bed is very tall, much taller than a standard bunk bed, and a fall from that height could be fatal. I spent the first night my daughter slept in this bed in an almost constant state of panic. I woke up 3 or 4 times in the night worried she'd be dead by morning. She insisted she'd be okay, but as a mother, I was, and am, very worried.

There are other problems, too. The construction is pretty flimsy. For example, the bed slats are spaced by little plastic snap-in pieces, and we broke two or three of them just putting them in place.

In a bed like this, it probably goes without saying, but this thing is a b*&%h to make. It took me 25 minutes to put the sheets on and my daughter can't make it by herself.

The IDEA of this bed is really cool, and it really does give you lots of extra space, but it has some serious flaws and I cannot recommend it, even though my daughter is really happy with it. Two stars because of how much my daughter likes it, but parent-to-parent, I urge you to look elsewhere.

Alan Silverwood Delia Smith Silver Anodised Aluminium Bakeware Full Set - 99624 Review

I bought this set from these sellers on amazon UK about 6 months ago. My comments:

First, as sellers they are top notch. The items arrived properly packed, the order was shipped quickly and arrived quickly, and they were responsive to email queries for information before I bought it.

Second, the tins: They are annodized aluminum alloy. They are nearly non stick when you get them. They really do wash clean quickly and easily. They are sized to go with Delia Smith's cake book but honestly they are 7 and 8 inch tins, more or less, for the round ones...and the jelly roll and other rectangular sizes are fairly standard oo.

Third, they come with liners: There are non stick liners for EACH tin in this set. They work well. Yes, they are teflon but at the low temperature you bake cakes, there should be no issue.

Fourth, value: You get 13 tins and liners for 13 tins. So, it is 26 "things" for this price. (it's more than that because you get base and side liners for the round tins). The price isn't bad for a high quality import that must be shipped overseas.

I have nothing but good things to say about Alan Silverwood items; I also have a cake tin I bought over 20 years ago and use and it's still in great shape.

Buy these.
